Street Art - Tagged Van
Hello lovely Hiveans !
Today I have an entry for the Street Art Community and their Street Art Contest .. This time it is about a very cool tagged van that I can along a while ago. I hope you like it ^^
The Naturalna Van
While I was walking through the city of Bydgoszcz last year, I came along this cool van here. As it was painted, it directly attracted my attention. The van had "Naturalne" written on it. It is the same name as the shop has, where the van is parking at. I assume it belongs to the shop owner and this can is hosting a really creative way of advertising .. I am never going to advertise anything and are not a fan of the whole influenza scene at all, so I won't go into detail there 😉 .. I took a picture of the side and the back of the van and will show it here. Let's start with the side ^^
It shows some really nice motives, from which I only know one. Apart from the big Naturala sign there is a big pair of feet to be seen that covers not only the back container, but also the drivers cabin. This seems a bit to apart from the other motives, as it is not holding to the proportions at all. There is also a lady, who use teaching the newspaper, two children with balloon and a woman that catches fire for her cigarette. all of to g we motives are hold in black and white and show a beautiful contrast to the purple balloon and the green grass .. But there is something else. In-between the feet are two people that are looking very familiar. Those of you, who are a bit into museum from the early 2000, probably directly recognise them as motives from the "Gorillaz", an english virtual band, that created the animated band members 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel. I really loved the band back in the days and it's my favourite notice on the whole can. They are also featured in colour 😉
The back of the van prolongs the motives. But instead of huge feet, we get to see huge hands that seem to grab the van. The people here are again hold in black and white and here we get to see the other person, that shares the die with the woman's on the side of the van. In addition there is a shirtless man, a woman with a huge afro and a grandpa with his grandson. Contrary o the other people, the grandpa appears in another drawing style. Thus h we stands out a bit, as well as the Gorillaz motives on the side, which were drawn in colour.
Overall, I like how the van came out and think, that is is a nice idea to attract some attention and create advertising for a business. Especially the Gorillaz motives fascinated me and left me a bit melancholic and brought some thought s of the music from my school time 😁
