Two Sundays ago, it rained in the morning. After doing some househould chores, my wife and I went for lunch. Decided to go to a coffeeshop in Lorong 1 Toa Payoh. The fried hokkien noodle stall had move to a bigger stall.
两个星期天前，早上下了雨。 做完一些家务后，我和太太去吃午餐。 决定去大巴窑1巷的一家咖啡店。 炒福建面摊已经搬到一个更大的摊位。

My wife had the fried hokkien prawn noodle. Nice and hot.

I decided to try something I had not tried. They have fried bee tai mak and that was a bit more expensive at $6. It was a bit salty but I kind of like it. Maybe, I‘d eat that again but not so soon.
我决定尝试我没吃过的炒米台目，价格为6块钱是稍贵一些但我有点喜欢。 也许，我以后会再吃，但不会那么快。

Bought some food to the inlaws place and looked out to check out the construction of the police building across the road.

The hokkien mee looked very different from the Malaysian hokkien mee. In Malaysia, hokkien is fried with soya sauce and so it is dark brownish in color.

Haha, I am think if the occasional sirens in due time will be a torturing event.
Bee tai mak is a kind of noodle but they stir fried braised mince pork in it.
They are short strands and thick in the middle.
