Fungi Friday : This Mushroom is as White as Milk
Hello friends of the #FungiFriday community, we have arrived again on Friday. I hope all of you are in good health always.
Yesterday I visited my sister at her house because there was a need, her house is not too far from my house, it can be said that we still live in the same area, namely Lhokseumawe City. My sister's house is a rented house (rental house) because they are a new family. My sister just got married a year ago, so of course she doesn't have a house of her own. The house also has a fairly large yard, in front, side and back of the house. After I finished chatting with my sister and husband, then I went to the back of her house to see the state and atmosphere of her yard. Indeed, she has not planted a single plant yet, because as far as I know my sister is not the type of plant lover.
While I was looking around, there was an old wooden tree standing upright to my right. The old tree had long since died, and I looked closely at the bottom. I saw a pile of pale white as white as milk, I immediately believed that it was a mushroom. Once I looked down to take a closer look, and indeed it was a mushroom. Then I took my phone to take pictures of this milky white mushroom from several different angles.
This fungus is Oxyporus populinus which is a plant pathogen that attacks trees. This mushroom is not edible.
