the main cause of escalating traumatic stress
is gone.
Gone as in I was terminated from my employment as an Insurance Claims Manager for a mid-tier brokerage prior to the 24th December 2021. Terminated just in time for the holiday season, Merry Christmas to me.
My job is done and as good as gone. God, I'm glad for that as the week prior I had to seek medical leave from all the enormous strains manifesting at the time: Alcohol abuse and quite alarming self-harming (couldn't walk properly for a week, still can't comfortably today).
Once the week-long medical leave expired I couldn't face an office full of workplace peers, overly cheerful with their mRNA stab-affectations being proudly exclaimed across the office space as a show of bumbling camaraderie. I might have snapped at them if I went to work when I was still recovering from the heavy binge drinking plus the soles of my feet being a shredded mess of mincemeat, flesh strips missing from where I tore them off.
If I returned to work on that Friday, there was going to be a Secret Santa event in the morning where all staff are expected to participate. At the end of the work day, the Work Christmas Party was due to start at 6pm - Fuck that. It was at the Managing Director's house too (ex-Army / Defence Forces chap) who lived on the outskirts of the city, where suburbs meet semi-rural acreage hobby farms.
Since work office hours finish at 5pm and the Christmas party commenced with a 6pm arrival time, this meant an hour's drive in a carload of workplace colleagues to the managing director's home for a "Hawaiian-themed" Xmas Party. We were told to wear Hawaiian shirts to fir this theme... ha ha? I had already made my mind up weeks ago to not attend the Hawaiian-themed Christmas Party.
I returned to work at the start of the following week and had my employment terminated because I refused to disclose my personal medical information to my employer by the date which I was allegedly forced to disclose it by due to Western Australia's Workplace Vaccine Mandate "Public Health Directions." My decision was respected by the managing director and other staff, infact they were openly crestfallen at the news. Tearful and shocked...
Being terminated was part of a defensive strategy I had researched for my situation and recently I completed my General Protections Involving Unfair Dismissal Application to Fair Work Australia. I await further advice from the Fair Work Commission...
anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, a written record including of contemporaneous details on the culmination of my employment...
After completing the aforementioned application, I haven't got a whit of desire to recall what went into this - it was not an easy task and I'm not so hopeful of any justice being delivered throughout this Unfair Dismissal process. Still, it was the most I could do without collapsing or seeking professional legal representation so for now, I wait...
And as I sit here, waiting to squeeze out a written shit, I check the painstream corporate media news lies....

I am distrustful of all political, corporate and media figures. The ending of a social contract (of sorts) has made all these figures in these roles worthless in my life. We are not all in this together - there's tens of thousands of workers who have been terminated, stood down, gaslighted and coerced into losing their employment in the last few months. This is not noticed by the political, corporate and media figures as noteworthy...
Yet it is not like I was giving them much regard prior to the #plandemic - my ignorance of "politics" was a happy modality to live through in 2019 and earlier. Now though, now, now, hmmmmmmm. This sentence will not be formed fully as I have omitted emotional expression for the safety of all concerned (and you better be concerned, cunt. It's gonna be a real nasty surprise once realized all you have is inept legions of peons surrounding you).

To give you an idea of how hostile the WA State Government is regarding the querying of these mandates, I have uploaded below an email I sent to their office seeking clarification on how particular "Occupations & Industries" are defined by their "Public Health Directives." I received no response (maybe there was no response to provide because there was no clear definition?).
The Auto-Reply email acknowledgement I received in response.
This is the first time I experienced a cold shoulder from a government department which had the outcome of literally destroying my career. I was very bitter at the time despite not expecting a resolute answer to be provided - but still, getting NOTHING at all was beyond the pale for me.
Therefore I smile, eager to awaken aspects of self long-buried by the bureaucratic drudgery, the emotionally emasculating environment & endless volumes of other people's losses.
I will keep posting updates on the progress of my unfair dismissal application as the matter progresses and I hope my experience will be able to assist many workers around Australia who are also in a very similar situation.
In the meantime, let us look towards a brighter future : whether the way forward be lit by flame or otherwise!
