Engulfed by a Hydra (Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen)
A little bit of humor in these bad days doesn't hurt, it turns out that after so much stress and not being able to meet my commitments due to power outages, I couldn't take it anymore and I entered the game to relax a little bit.
I had doubts about the title of my publication, whether to put my fight with the hydra or the faces of my character, which really got me out of my problems, I couldn't stop laughing, I don't know why my character is so charismatic, almost clownish, she is very funny with the expressions of her body and face.
I made a compilation of images where she over exaggerates her gestures, I want you to enjoy them as much as me and have fun because really the creators of these games are geniuses, not only they take care of the scenery but those characteristics that you customize really have them and as you may know, we almost always customize them according to our way of being (at least me) and she really is so similar to me that I am amazed.
Disclaimer: The story told here is from my own imagination, it has nothing to do with the game and its missions, I just exaggerate.

Imagine waking up and seeing a snake the size of a building in front of you.
Not the same as finding a snake in your boot, this is truly creepy and deadly.

There I am in front of her, I confess that my legs are shaking, she is huge and she can attack me by any head, she stares at me but I came to tell her: I didn't eat your eggs!
The hydra eats each of the soldiers without mercy!
Maybe they deserve it, I myself have to find out who disturbed this animal to give him what he deserves because it is not fair that I was awakened abruptly from my rest.

I'm finding that hitting him up close doesn't do much damage, however I need my mage pawns to ram my bow with fire and they are so distracted in the battle that they haven't done it yet.

One of its heads had me in its sights, as I swung my bow and arrows at one of its heads, inevitably surprised it captured me and I could feel its breath at thousands of dead rats.

This was tragic, the scene gave me chills, however even inside his throat I did not stop hitting, because I want to live to tell my feat, I hit and hit, because I was seeing that my pawns tried to rescue me and did not do much damage, suddenly...
I freed myself from the animal by cutting off its head from the inside, and emerged victorious with my super sexy face.
I'm not afraid, I'm just shaking in my legs.
One of its other heads wants revenge for having hurt the other one, it looks at me with hatred and its eyes fixed on me, I can feel its fangs digging into my face.
Oh, oh, here it comes again.
We stare at each other, I feel as powerful as an Amazon and as beautiful and vulnerable as if I were in a beauty pageant even with my crown on. Make no mistake, I can be strong and bad.
Finally my mages pawns wake up and fill my bow with fire magic, now I start to hurt him with fire arrows.
The hydra doesn't like to be my snake barbecue at all.
I feel his bad breath up close again!
This time trying to swallow another soldier in front of me, but I will make him swallow a few arrows in return, I gave him so many that he let go of the poor man who came out, all stinking and wet, I think he peed in his pants from the scare!
No! Start moving! It escapes! After her!
One by one it swallows the soldiers, my arrows with fire didn't like it and it wants to escape, I let go of my bow temporarily and hit it with my blades.
However she slid on the ground as if she was bathed with butter.
Impressed by her huge snaking tail, I took my bow and tried to hit her from afar, however I had to chase her so she wouldn't run away.
The camp is almost in ruins.

When she was slipping away I was distracted admiring the length of her tail and it hit me so hard that I rolled over, I spun around several times on the floor, but it didn't matter, I had to get up very quickly and continue the battle.
A good idea!
Mercedes pushes a barrel loaded with gunpowder towards me, and signals me to try to make it swallow the hydra, I hope I can do it, so....

Thanks to my hobby of grabbing things and throwing them for mere fun, I have perfected this quality, so, I took the powder keg, approached the hydra and being the bait myself, attracted her attention, she tried to swallow me, but I threw the keg at her and it worked.

After making it swallow the powder keg, I waited for the exact moment.
Now! I launched an incendiary arrow and kaboom! the hydra fell to the ground.
It was an excellent strategy with the barrel, now I am amazed to see, the last head of the hydra in front of me, while a strange symbol gave off light on its forehead.
Commander Mercedes comes to congratulate me, for God's sake! She can't be prettier and sexier? She is so beautiful and delicate that maybe that is why the battalion doubts her strength and cunning in battle, however when she threw the powder keg at me I could see that she is intelligent, however, maybe a little cowardly, why didn't she do it?
No matter, there's a party at the camp! We have defeated the hydra, the battalion congratulates me and although there is much to repair behind the ruins, we can do it and tell our experience. It is already the second huge monster that I had to face in this same camp.

It seems you faced a real challenge with that hydra. I also found it quite difficult to face it, as it appears at the beginning of the game and, since I had a mage character, I hadn't unlocked good spells.
The first time I failed because it swallowed me! I had to try again, it's just that the PC mode without controls makes me too confused.
